Major Life Transitions

We’ve all had a time in our lives when something needed to change, whether by choice or by force. Over and over life will continue to challenge us in order to grow us. Hard times will come.

In these times, we find ourselves needing a little more support. Support can look different for everyone. For some of us the best support looks like a glass of wine, or our friends and family. Support could look like our vape because that’s easy to use and can be carried in our pockets. Support could also look like curling up in our favorite blanket, or lighting candles, the list can go on and on. What matters the most in these times is taking a deep breath, and repeatedly acknowledging that we are capable of making it through.

Don’t worry about doing life perfectly. We just have to find what is right for us right now. We always have the freedom to deliberate, to contemplate, and then to pivot, and to adjust when it feels necessary. Five finger breathing is a simple technique that incorporates breath work and physical touch, which helps you stay present in the moment and reconnect with yourself in the heat of a stressful time.
